This hike was the capstone of my six peak challenge. The previous hikes made this challenging trail a reality for me. There was a cool breeze in the morning which made for great hiking conditions. Most of the trail is in the wood line, except for the last 3 miles before the summit. I went through 3L of water and 16 oz of electrolytes, and I filtered additional on the way back to be safe. Thanks Jeff for setting up the program! I plan to checkout the remaining alternative hike before the end of the year keep on trucking.
