Third weekend in a row on the road with Beau and Vegas trying to complete the challenge. Another beautiful day with temps in the mid 70s. Took Gould Trail out and back after reading about it in the Hiking Project logs. It was a bit steeper than we expected. Trails were in good condition, just a bit of overgrowth here and there. Went into the lodge as soon as we reached the summit to grab some well deserved lunch. After lunch we walked around the summit and climbed up the War Memorial Tower to take in the beautiful views. If you are going to check it out, be prepared to wait to go up and down the narrow spiraling staircase.
