This was the final hike I needed to complete the challenge. I have read up on the hike multiple times hearing that it would take seven hours to complete or that first three miles are some of the most difficult. Being at the base of the mountain staring at the the giant before me truly did make me nervous. Nevertheless I was prepared to take on this challenge, every hike from the moment I started the challenge had led up to this moment, I was not about to run away now after everything I've been through. Me and my buddy started the hike around 8am and made our way to the top. There was some snow scattered around the trail but it was simple to get around. The weather was perfect not too cold and the sight from the top of the peak was amazing. The journey was well worth it for immense fun I had doing these hikes. What sucks is my phone died before I reached the top so the only photo I got was the one from the trail head. I guess this gives me a reason to go back and do it all over again.
