Bugs:

Bugs were terrible

We started at 7:30 am and weather was sunny but not hot in the 60’s. First two miles were straight up on a narrow, rocky path then leveled off of fire road. It was exposed with steady uphill to 5 mile mark then leveled off with a grove of oak trees. Lots of bugs, so need a bug net for sure or it will not be a good experience.
