Can you say false peaks….again and again! This was a tough hike but very satisfying to finally get to the top. Same start as Cucamonga but once we got to the saddle, veering off towards Ontario Peak was really beautiful and a little torturous as we rounded a corner or made it to the top of a peak only to learn that wasn't the top at all. Still, each time I am in the mountains with my favorite hiking buddy I feel so lucky to be on top of the world somewhere. The view was spectacular. Surprisingly, we spotted a deer and her baby on the way down and I'm always in awe at that amazing sighting. 5 peaks bagged and 1 to go. I'm feeling like I can actually declare myself a hiker!
