Once again, ALWAYS AN ADVENTURE!! My life is an amazing beautiful adventure with all my peeps. Today we hiked peak #3 of the summer 6 peak challenge with a bonus visit to the crater which we could see from the hike and the Pueblo dwellings.

The trail is very well maintained, in fact it's an access road of lava rock so makes for a nice hike but it does incline and you def get your cardio workout and feel the elevation change. Please bring plenty of water and a hat. The views of the crater along the way were amazing and the change of rocks from black to vibrant red is amazing! The smell of pines and nature are like none else. the ranger was at the lookout and allowed us all up and took pictures which was super nice!! The bugs were insane!!! We tried to eat lunch at the top and the little flies were all over my friends were laughing at me doing the bug smack dance! Ladybugs in abundance too. No bathrooms, find a tree !! We visited the Sunset Crater Visitor Center and Wupatki Visitor Center and Pueblos since it was right there! An added bonus to our trip.
