My goodness… this is the hardest hike I have ever done. The snow added a whole other layer of difficulty that I had not fully anticipated. We almost turned around just 700 vertical feet from the top due a very dark and ominous storm that rolled in. We only saw a total of 2 other people the whole time. We still trekked forward as the storm passed and what a rewarding feeling we had at the top! Definitely want to do again without the snow..
