Four us decided to climb today, but one entered the wrong destination in her GPS, so then there were just three!

It was a chilly start to the hike, temps were just barely getting into the 40's, but it was sunny and no wind, so it was very manageable.  We went up the PG&E trail and there were sections that were muddy, especially towards the top and some areas you could see were removing from slides caused by January's storms, but all in all it was a very clean and well maintained trail.  We made it to the top and wanted to try out my new backpacking stove, so we took the half mile detour to Montebello Backpacking camp.  Fresh coffee on a breezy mountain top was amazing!  But, even with warm bellies, it was pretty cold, so we didn't stay too long.

On the way down we cut across to the meadow and down into Wildcat Canyon, making our way to Deer Hollow Farm, where we were able to pet some cows and enjoy the animals for a bit.  Our stomachs soon reminded us that it was time to go and we made our way out to find a place to eat!
