After having completed Palomar Mountain High Point, I drove to the Los Coyotes Reservation. It had been 6 years since I was last here. It costs $10 to enter and parked at the Los Coyotes Reservation Campground to start the hike. Very serene hike, I was the only one out there. Some patches of snow near the top. Cool at the top. The fire lookout is not what it used to be, the wooden steps are all gone and it is but a frame left. Last time I was able to climb up to the tower. The true summit is well marked out with a sign and pink ribbons lining the way. Caught the sunset on the way down and made it back to my car just before dark. Decided to call it a day and headed home.
