Veterans Day 2022! Mr Riggs and I conquered the last of the Six Pack of Peaks. Palomar! Rain earlier in the week made for a fantastic hike. I could see the snow capped peaks of Mount Baldy, San Jacinto and San Gorgonio. To the west I could see Point Loma, the Coronados, Dana Point and Santa Catalina Island. Second hardest hike for me. 3500’ elevation gain over 13 miles. Some rocky sections. Riggs wore booties for the entire hike.
