Parked at Bald Mountain lot, arrived a little before 7:30 AM. Enjoyed the sunrise on our way up to the site. Just 3 other vehicles parked, mainly taking photos of the sunrise at the parking lot.
Started hiking at 7:30
It was low 40s so layered up with thermal clothing, had a hoodie and a fleece jacket. Eventually those layers came off as we hit the midpoint crossing a few bridges along the way.
Very clear path. Did not see much wildlife other than bluebirds and black chunky squirrels.
Made it to the summit by climbing the stairs! Could possibly be the toughest part of the 7 miles lol
Arrived at the cube by 9:30 and snacked/hydrated for a good half hour
Witnessed runners and plenty of fast-paced hikers, a family with young children and overall great smiles along the way back to the car.
Total 3 hours with breaks
