Bluebird day for trail running! Cool morning weather, not a cloud in the sky. Trail was only lightly populated when I started out around 8:45am. Recommend arriving early as parking lot is small and fills up quickly. Route is a fairly gradual incline – combo of running and hiking for me on the ascent, all running on the descent. Great first peak to bag in the challenge.

Saw you on the summit today. I was eating lunch with my fiancé. Although we all said hello to each other, didn’t know you were a six packer ! Next time I will have my badge more visible. I met another person in our challenge on the trail today too. Love seeing us out there!
