Via South Fork. I prefer this route to Vivian Creek TH because the grade is gradual. Started our hike at 6:15am. Trail is in good condition with some rocky sections. Beautiful views all around. Lots of people at the summit. I ran into Jonathan whom I met on Sawmill last year. I love running into people also doing this challenge. The stats – 19.3mi, 4620’ gain, 9hrs 30min, drank 1.5L (brought 3L), 20oz. electrolytes, salty/sweet snacks, and a summit sandwich.
