It was a solid hike. A lot of dead trees cause of the fires, but there was still a lot of life. Not too hot, plenty of clouds and there was a constant breeze. It was not crowded at all. We got to enjoy the summit all to ourselves for a good hour. Beautiful views of Big Bear Lake. The water creek was flowing and it was good thing too cause my mom ran out of water on the way back! We were able to refill 2 liter and she used her life straw for the first time. Two more peaks to go for the challenge 😅
