Great weather for a hike. Got to the trailhead by 7 am and there were less than ten cars in the lot. Got all the way to Icehouse Saddle before we really were hit by a ray of sunlight. From Icehouse Saddle to Cucamonga Peak was pretty challenging- a lot of steep uphill. But we got it done! Incredible views from the summit. No wind or anything. Perfect day. Bugs were a bit irritating on the way back, but it’s the great outdoors – what cha gonna do? Overall a challenging but fun hike.
