Temperature was warmer and not too many bugs on the descent.  Met 2 other hikers (mother and daughter) that are doing this challenge. It’s so cool that they’re doing this together. 1. Peak 6 at San Gorgonio is a great way to finish the challenge! Congrats!
I am also planning on doing San Gorgonio this month, either 9/23 or 9/30. What day are you planning on hiking it? Maybe I’ll see you guys at the summit 🙂 Tell Wanda I said hello!

      1. Thanks! We are planning to hike it on the 24th. We want to experience the sunrise at the summit. What time do you recommend we start?

I’ll definitely let my mom know you said hi😊

        1. Wow! Sunrise at the summit. That’ll be amazing but you might have to start at 2-3am, or do an overnight before the summit. Are you going via Vivian Creek? I had to push my hike back due to conflicts so now I’m looking at 10/7 or 10/8, but going via South Fork. Looking forward to reading your report and seeing some pics. Be safe and happy trails!

          1. 👋🏼 I think 2a will be a good time to start. We are about 1hr and a 1/2 away from the trailhead. We are going via Vivian Creek, so who knows if we will summit in time for sunrise 🌄 As long as we summit safely all is good!
