What a perfect day for this hike. I started out by getting my wilderness pass at the ranger station and them drove up to the trailhead that's perfectly males out and a big parking lot. The trail is nicely marked out and the path is clear for you to find. There are a couple of streams still putting out water along the route, and there is also an outhouse about 4 miles up, right where the camp sites are. There is no beaten path the last 100ft, in which it's a rock scramble.
