This hike was on the best winter day that a person could hike on. We had 60 degree weather on that Monday. There was a little snow in certain areas but not much.
We went up Pumpelly Trail and came back down Pumpelly Trail. The distance was 9 miles versus the 8.3 or so that it says online/sign.
The trailhead is alongside a dirt road versus an actual parking area.
If you dont mind the length of trail it was a great “trail hike” versus rock climbing.
On the way down, about 1/2 mile from car I twisted my ankle in the melting snow/slush but still a great day.
