The most difficult part of this saga was getting to the trailhead. Narrow dirt roads thru countless wash areas with desert plants abound lined the way. With overcast skies, temps in the 50s and limited wind, conditions were ideal. Coupled with having the mountain to myself, the excitement of closing out the 2024 Winter Challenge with my ninth successful trek was exhilarating!
