What a great hike on a cool Monday. This was by far one of my favorite hikes for the peak challenge. Maybe because the weather was so perfect. Nice cool day with a slightly chilly breeze at the peak. Added a layer and it was good. This was the first time I have done Baden-Powell, but won't be my last. Worth the hour and half drive from my house to do such a well kept trail and amazing views all around. The trees, I think Timber? Pines were amazing if you take a moment to really look at them. There was one that was twisted and golden, really beautiful!!

Love San Jacinto Peak for the amazing views, but this is a close second and much easier hike.
