While this wasn't one of my favorites, it was still a decent hike and challenging for a day hike. The weather was pretty cold in the morning, but I was still able to feel comfortable in shorts. The trail is well covered, so layers were nice for the shaded areas. Definitely get there by 6am or you will have to park pretty far away! I arrived around 6:30 and I parked about a 1/4 mile from the trailhead (in a very questionable spot). Maybe I just had the wrong attitude going into it, but it just seemed a little boring. The views from the top were amazing, but I felt myself rushing to finish. I went alone, as I usually do, but maybe it would have been better in a group. I'm interested to read other reviews!
