Got lucky for my second hike of the day that it was overcast hiking through the lava fields. Lots of walking on rocks until the side trail for the summit. There's a decent amount of flowers blooming along the trail near the actual summit trail. Trail up Belknap is a steep sandy slog up the edge but is beautiful at the top. Most of the mountains besides Mt Washington were behind the clowds but the gloomy day was still beautiful. Started really raining when I was at the summit so I didn't linger. Definitely want to do it again on a clearer day for the views!
