This one was the last peak and despite lower mileage was challenging in its own way. About a mile to Finger Rock, the rain came. Although I had a rain jacket it still poured so I stopped and tried to take shelter among the trees. Eventually it lessened that I was able to continue to Finger Rock. In compliance with the US Forest Service closure order I only continued up to Finger Rock, took photos and turned around. I was soaking wet despite my rain jacket when I returned to the car but it felt good to finish the challenge for this year.
