Started around 6:45am and it was chilly (I wore gloves), but we warmed up as we were hiking. We saw maybe 6 other people on the way up — no line to take a picture on the rock! Getting onto the rock is a little scary, and so is getting down. It helps if you’re hiking with someone who can give you a hand (but also friendly hikers will most likely offer you a hand as well!). The sky cleared up (there were some wispy clouds in the beginning) and we enjoyed the view before heading back down. The last time I did this hike was 8 years ago and it was better than I remembered it 🙂
