This is a fun, easy climb with some simple bouldering. From the top of the incline, head up the hill towards the higher access road and follow it uphill until it levels out and starts to turn to the left. When you see a wooden post on the left-hand side of the road, that's the marker for the trail up to Rocky. Follow the faint trail uphill for roughly a mile (rough estimate). The trail turns left in what looks more like a ditch than a trail. (If you see an old tree on the right that fell over but grew upright again, you've gone about 100 yards past your turn.) Follow the gravel trail uphill again as it becomes a bit more visible. There are some fallen trees to navigate.
Be sure to check out the information from Social Hiker about Rocky Mountain for a good set of hiking directions.
Most importantly, if this is your first trip to the incline, reservations are required, and parking is very limited, expensive, and strictly enforced. The reservation website has all the information you need. Just plan ahead early.
