This hike is beautiful and challenging. The up and downs of this hike are quite rough on the knees and feels like hiking a rollercoaster.

We started a little later in the morning. Around 10:00 am; and finished by 4:30 pm.

I would recommend bringing hiking poles if you have sensitive knees or maybe wrap them up.

The weather was perfect although a little windy up at the top.

Glad we hiked it at this time of year as I have read it can get extremely hot in the summer and early fall.

We had one camelback each; I believe 3 liters of water each and we were fine. But if you are a heavy water drinker you might want an extra bottle or 2 of water just in case. I brought little tangerines and a sandwich but there is a fruit stand on the way up to the trail from the parking lot that accepts cash in a plastic container for the sale of their produce just in case you don't have fresh fruit.

There is a restroom at the base of the trail only so make sure you take advantage of that before you start the trail!

We started our Six Pack challenge with this peak and are a little rusty from not having bagged a major peak since last June but we were able to tackle it!

Have fun, Be safe, don't go on an empty stomach or a tired body!
