Went out on Camp Ohlone road to see Little Yosemite. Fairly steady climbs up to McCorkle trail where some of the climbs were more steep. Signed in to Ohlone trail and after this the trail is pretty much all fire road to the peak. We encountered some cows that didn't like humans and one charged at us. Made it up to the peak which is not very impressive for the length of the hike. We saw some patchy snow in the shaded areas near the peak/campground areas. We came back on Ohlone trail and then took McCorkle all the way back to the parking lot which was much more up and down than if we had returned on Ohlone Road. 19.26 miles, 8.25 hours, 4973′ climbing! Long day but we felt good in the end! I would never do this hike in the summer – it is very exposed and would be terribly hot.
