This is a two part story since we backpacked from Angelus oaks to summit San Bernardino Peak hitting a few peaks in between, across the ten thousand foot range and summit San Gorgonio before heading down. Trail conditions were perfect. We hiked up filtered extra water from a stream and hit San Bernardino Peak and San Bernardino East Peak before setting up camp for the night. Beautiful sunset followed by a full moon rising ended the first day of our fantastic adventure.
