Incredibly long and hot.
We tried over Memorial Day weekend but there was too much snow to safely continue for the last two miles, so we came back a month later and tried again with much success. The flowers were much better in July than May, but the bugs were worse. We found lots of Grinnell's Beardtongue, prickly poppies, and golden wallflowers.
There was constant elevation gain except for at Manzanita Flats, and combined with the length of the hike it made for one of the harder peaks I've bagged. The air was a little thin at the top and I saw a couple people experience altitude sickness, but I was fine.
