San Bernadino Night Hike

We got to the trailhead at 1:00am with hopes of summiting before sunrise. It was very quiet at night ascending and there was an almost full harvest moon. As we suspected, we didn't give ourselves quite enough time, but we had a few beautiful views of the sunrise about an hour before summiting. I did something to my knee on the descent, which I figured out later to be something with my it band.
