Started at 9 AM, beautiful weather, no signs of fire, so why was the wilderness closed for months, huh???? Reached the top at about 1:30 PM, returned to the trail head at 5:30 PM. Even though I hiked Mt. Whitney on August 22 after hiking the other five peaks of the Six Pack, this still seemed like a challenging hike. I am glad to have completed the Six Pack for the first time in my life. Thanks to Violeta, who we met at the summit, for letting me borrow her official Six Pack Banner for my final photo!
