Our group of 4 girls decided to follow Jeff’s guide to backpacking San Bernardino peak and San Gorgonio. We parked at South Fork trailhead, then loaded up in my truck and parked at Forsee Creek. The weather was beautiful both Saturday and Sunday. After submitting San B, we hiked to Anderson Flat to camp. I really fell in love with the San Gorgonio wilderness, there’s nowhere else I’ve hiked that is quite like it, with all the connecting trails, the 9 peaks, and all the camps and water sources, it is a great place to backpack. I really feel like doing this route gave me a much better understanding of the area and trails. We met so many cool people up there too.
