Really fun hike, the wildflowers are all over and there are many different varieties as well as a lot of wild grass. Started earlyish at 6:30 made it to the top around noon, 8.5 miles to the top from the parking lot. At mile 5 there is a great stone slab to take a break on, the manzanita meadow is a nice flat 1 mile stretch.  The first 6 miles are a pretty steady climb, gets a bit steeper the last 2.5. incredible views at the top. Saw 2 people the entire day.

Took me 8 hours and 50 minutes

Ps if you are tall there are quite a few spots where tree branches are low enough to take your hat or scratch your head.
