Great hike. Met lots of other people doing the challenge! Started around 7am. Only 4 other vehicles in the parking lot. Took us 4.5 hours to summit with a small snack break at the campsite. Clear sunny day on our way up. Clouds started rolling in as we descended. Above the clouds at first and then in the clouds on our way down. Last 3 miles we got rain and hail. Luckily I had enough layers to keep me warm from the wetness! In total took us 8 hours. Lovely views. Nice and cool. Bring layers.
