I started this hike at about 9:30AM and the weather was slightly cloudy. There weren't as many people on the trail, which left more of the mountain to myself. Beautiful hike with amazing views of the San Bernardino mountains. Unfortunately I did notice that there were several sections of the hike where many trees were burnt, probably due to a fire from a while back. Hopefully in a few years this will go back to normal. Overall it's a good hike and a good way to train for Mt. Whitney. Would come back.
