Trail in good condition

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Carpooled to trailhead with my hiking partner, Bob G.  Started hiking about 6:30am.  We are both training for Mt Whitney using the Six Pack of Peaks.  Sad to see all the damage from recent fires.  Made it to the top about 11:30am.  Texted my wife to let her know we summited.  Returned safely to the trailhead.
