Absolutely awesome trail. We’ll maintained and smooth up and down. Crazy to see how much damage the fire created but tons of wild flowers. Only one spot I saw about 4-5 mile on the way up to fill up water. It was windy so the heat wasn’t as much of an issue left at 6:30 am and didn’t get hot till the very end. Days with less wind would recommend leaving earlier due to lack of tree coverage due to fire. Beautiful views all the way up with minimal snow walking. Not spikes needed.
