We started the hike up to San G around 5am. Our party included a 12 year old, 15 year old, 16 year old, our 3 year old dog and a couple 30 somethings. We prepared for a long day but 18 miles and 6000 ft in elevation gain definitely took its toll on everyone. Weather heated up a bit as we approached the peak but nothing that would set us back physically.

On the way back we spotted a couple big horn sheep and a few deer eating next to the creek. Such an epic epic adventure.
