South Fork TH with 8 friends. At Dry Lake split, continued on South Fork Trail to the west and to the summit. This was like Mount Baldy, with over 30 people at the summit. Descended via Dry Lake Trail back to TH. The only reliable water source on this route was the creek about 150 feet east of the Dry Lake / South Fork junction (about 3.7 miles from the TH), which for trivia buffs is also the start of the Santa Ana River. Dry Lake had a tiny pool of water but I wouldn't go there because the mud is dangerous (and no animal tracks, even they know not to go there).
