Vivian Creek Trail is beautiful! Just ignore the first switchbacks that goes up about 1K EG and it's all flat from there. I was feeling good with high spirit that I didn't notice the 2nd switchbacks (where I lost my crew) I was enjoying the scenery too much!
There's water at Vivian Creek (~2mi) and High Creek (~6mi). No water at Halfway Camp, which is NOT halfway of the hike!

Two of my crew dropped out, one on the 2nd switchback, and the other, about a mile towards the summit. SanG right after TCT might be a bit much for them ????
To my surprise, I got a radio call and they eventually decided to push for the summit! We waited for them and we all were able to summit! ????????????
I'd love to come back for a sunrise/sunset hike!
