This hike was all that everyone made it out to be. Tough, long, steep and rocky. The first couple miles is tough then some steady incline then you get slapped in the face for the final mile. I have done Whitney, Elbert and Shasta, this rates up there. Very rewarding now that I made it. We started at 4:30am got back to the car at 4:00pm

plenty of water along the way, fill up at the last camp for the final ascent.
