Decided to summit San G this time via Fish Creek. The drive to the trailhead requires high clearance vehicle and is a less common starting point for most people. We backpacked into Fish Creek Saddle where we set up camp and then made a side trip down to Lodgepole Spring to collect more water. The weather was pleasant and comfortable with bugs not being much of a factor.
The next morning we began our summit at 7am and quickly made it up to the peak. Great temps on the summit with only a couple people present. Fish Creek was a great route. A few tree obstacles blocking the trail that you have to navigate around but the gentle incline the entire way makes this in my opinion one of the easier or easiest routes to summit San G.
