My 2nd time summited San Gorgonio this year. Definitely via South Fork trail is easier than Vivian Creek. Via South Fork has beautiful views to offer, just have to watch out for fallen trees (13 or more). The weather was nice, no bugs and so much water at the Dollar Lake. Recommended to bring a wide brim hat and sunscreen.
