Set out on this May the 4th with Josh (@honeybadger_adventures) it was 39 degrees at 6am when we started at the Vivian Creek trailhead and began our ascent. There were a total 4 people in front of us and after 7 miles I was feeling great (I’ve been MIA since February and this was my first hike since Feb. 17). Once we hit around 11,000 ft though the elevation got to me a bit and I was moving slow when I reached the peak. We snapped some obligatory photos and spotted even Chewbacca completing the Six Pack of Peaks. What a gorgeous day to summit San Gorgonio. Heads up to all one of the summit signs was busted and only a fragment could be found up top and the other sign was nowhere to be found unfortunately.
