Came across a doe and offspring on the way down. The doe was not scared of us. We got within about 20 yards before we went off trail to go around them.

Did you do this hike on a weekday or weekend? I’m trying to go on a Saturday but not sure if Tram starts running at 8am or 10am; getting conflicting information from website. Could you give some clarification?
I hiked on Friday. We were able to take the first tram in the morning which was 10am. But on Saturday and Sunday, the tram starts at 8am. I took an 8am ride on a Saturday a few years ago.
