- Beautifully maintained trail. Great weather. Beautiful views. Not everyone in our group was able to summit…some were too tired and another got sick, maybe altitude sickness. The summit was all huge boulders, unlike any other summit I've been on. Tram ride was fun! Temperatures were over 100 degrees in palm springs, then in the 60s-70 along the trail! We could hear thunder and thought we'd get caught in sudden rain, but we made it back in time.
