We began this hike late in the morning because the first tram ride was at 10:00 AM on Thursdays during the summer. It was much cooler at the top than in the parking lot! We got our permit from the nearby Ranger Station, and took off toward the peak. The hike was uneventful, thank goodness! We enjoyed the view from the top, and then headed back toward the tram.
