San Jacinto is a gem of a hike. So many different zones and mostly shaded the way up. I would suggest doing it in weekday because on the weekend, the tram traffic is pretty insane. This route allowed for more solitude and it was great. You are going to work for it, but hey, that’s what it’s about. The view from the top is pretty incredible, we could see Catalina in the sweeping 360. Will go back to camp, lots of crest possible sites in the wilderness area. Also the signage is way of on the mileage, but it doesn’t really matter that much.
