We hiked on a day with a heat advisory, but we escaped the heat by starting at sunrise and ending at sunset. It was a very challenging hike, with a couple of minor obstacles, but the views made it all worth it. The trail was dusty and steep at times, making it easy to slip. Despite this, there were multiple beautiful water crossings that were very refreshing on such a hot day.
