Snow covered trail the entire time, but the day we went, there was minimal to no wind. Trail was mostly visible with a few areas where snowshoers had made “shortcuts”, but they all led to the same place. We started from Mountain Station around 9am, reached Wellman's Divide around 1pm, summited around 3pm, and then returned to the tram before 7:30pm. Ran into a fair amount of hikers, but it was ultimately a very peaceful hike. Physically, it's the toughest that I've done, due to the snow and hiking for 2+ hours in the dark/temperatures dropping. I'd like to try again in the spring/fall.
